CALLING ALL BANDS! We just launched Rockworks www.rockworks.us/showcase Showcase, an online battle of the bands type of competition. We’re looking for the best band in America. Maybe it’s you?

So here’s the scoop: four finalists of the online competition will perform LIVE at CMJ Music Marathon in NYC. We’re flying them out, putting them up, and letting them rock out at CMJ for an audience of music industry A&R, studios, labels, managers and celebrities.

All proceeds from the Rockworks Showcase will benefit our Gulf Coast [re]Build program. Right now, we’re working to restore the community of Forest Heights, MS—starting with a Boys & Girls Club Hope Center designed by Daniel Libeskind (the master architect who has designed the rebuild of the World Trade Center).

If you love music like we do, and want the chance of a lifetime, register your band at www.rockworks.us/showcase. Then, tell everyone you know to go there too, and nominate you to play at CMJ. It costs a mere dollar to nominate a band, but for us those dollars add up. We’re hoping to raise a million dollars, one dollar at a time.

So, get started today on the road to CMJ glory, and help Forest Heights on the road to recovery. Tell everyone you know to get played on Rockworks Showcase. Can’t wait to catch your act!
