Crushing disappointment of the week
Presenting Rilo Kiley’s The Moneymaker from their upcoming Under the Blacklight album:
Decent video, but an awful song. A little of my enthusiasm for this album is ebbing away each time I watch.
But at least she seems to have got the country thing out of her system.

Apart from Jenny Lewis being a bit of a minx, I’ve never liked Rilo Kiley. I tried far harder than usual because everyone else seemed to love them so much, but I’ve just never really got it.
it took me a few listens, but i really like the song! it is a bit different from previous stuff, but i’m kind of excited to see what the rest of the album will be like.
