A girl goes rummaging through her boyfriend’s things while he isn’t there. Proof of trust issues in their relationship? Probably. Endearingly neurotic? In this context, most certainly. As we follow her through his things, we want to know what secret is she going to uncover. Is she looking for evidence of something bad? Or something to indicate he loves her? What happens if either is found? What happens if neither is? The tiny window we have forces us to decide on our own. Not that it matters. By this point we’re too curious about what we’d find ourselves.
