Thehelpmeplease – Louise Dyer
Thehelpmeplease is Jonas Johnsson, who with a name like that, is unsurprisingly Swedish. As is the way of everyone in Sweden these days, he makes indiepop songs. These aren’t mind-blowingly original, but they are pleasant little twee numbers. Take Louise Dyer, a song that repeats the same verse three times over with only one tiny change in the narrative. It doesn’t matter though as it’s still all rather intriguing. And when you’ve got that and such a cumbersome band name, what more do you really need?
