Editors - Munich

Editors

Has there ever been a bad so utterly devoid of joy as Editors? Hell, they are so miserable they don’t even have a The. Combining the sounds of Interpol, The Strokes and Joy Division is one thing, to do so without any kind of emotion left in the songs whatsoever takes a special kind of talent. To be a band that makes bad music is awful enough. To be a dull band is far, far worse. If such a place as Hell existed, there would be a special circle exclusive for bands that put out such miserable, samey, radio friendly drivel as these guys do.

Munich is pretty decent though.

You’re entitled to your opinion, but I respectfully disagree,
Have you heard their second album? So much more joyous and definitely has a happier message. I think you’re right about combining the sounds of Interpol, Joy Division and (to a low extent) The Strokes, but it’s not radio friendly drivel
