Bambi Get Over It – Bad Man
I often find that a band name will hinder my appreciation of a band. Quite regularly, a band name will be so good or witty or clever that the music struggles to live up to it. I suspected this may well have been the case with Norwich’s Bambi Get Over It, but thankfully that wasn’t the case. Playing what they call “rockabilly infused indie”, they are utterly shambolic yet completely charming. Vocals yell, guitars jangle and mandolins, er, mandle? It’s all entirely insane, but by god it’s catchy.
