It was recorded during a split up of the group and was issued as the B-side of "Ivy Ivy" which was sung by Bert Sommer posing as the lead singer Steve Martin-Caro. We had the record stopped with a court injunction, went to court, and were awarded our rightful name The Left Banke. The cause of the problem was pianist/songwriter Michael Brown tried to fire the whole group after our hit "Walk Away Renee" but he lost the case. Can you imagine if we would have sung "And Suddenly".
