We no longer have a PO Box due to the ridiculous new Royal Mail fees for such a thing, so submissions will have to be digital. That said, if you have something megasuperawesome that you simply must send us through the post, get in touch and if you seem non-scary enough, you may be given an address.

Please note: If you send us any music, please specify which song(s) we can make available on the site. If no such information is included, this will be seen as implicit consent that we may use one song of our choice.
We listen to everything that we’re sent, and will write about anything we like. As such, it’s impossible to offer any kind of guarantee that we’ll write about material sent to us.
As a helpful guide, here are a few things that will almost certainly NOT end up being covered: Remixes, mixtapes, remixes, hippity-hop, remixes, dance, remixes, Bolivian folk music, and fucking remixes.

The blog
This is a music blog. It was started as something that could fill my time in a period where I didn’t have very much going on. It’s managed to both help and hinder my appreciation of music. There’s not some great crusade helping out smaller artists or anything here. I just want to write about the music that I like. Nothing more, nothing less. I’m not particularly musically minded, so there will be no great analysis of the technicalities and the such. I’m far more likely to ramble about the meaning of the song than anything else.

The brand
Five years into this blog thing, and Another Form of Relief has started dabbling in other areas.
I do some DJing for fun, so if you need someone to come and play indiepop records at your gig, club or whatever, get in touch. I’m cheap too. Stick a glass of wine in my hand and I’ll be happy.
I’m also involved in the running of TEA Concerts, which aims to bring quality gigs to interesting venues in Kent.
Legal
We only post music that falls into one of the following categories:
i. An mp3 that is made available either by an artist or their label.
ii. Music from releases that are not commercially available and are unlikely to be in the future.
Even so, should a recording that you own the rights to appear here and you would like it removed, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Tooting our horn
Another Form of Relief has been featured by multiple esteemed outlets, including the BBC, The Guardian, The Toronto Star, VH1′s Best Week Ever and AOL.

We’re not a fan. But if you want to make one hell of an offer, we’ll probably listen.
I know I’m alone if I’m with or without you,
but just being around you offers me another form of relief
